The yarn is sizing with sizing chemicals to increase the resistance against the high speed and frictions of weaving machine. Before the dying or washing process the sizing chemicals must be removed to obtain homogenous abrasition and soft fabric.
Desizing enzymes are the Alpha-Amylase enzymes that ensure repid and full degradation of starch and turn into components that are water soluble. The enzyme only decomposes starch without causing any damage to the textile fiber. The enzyme process durations vary in the range of 2 minutes up tp 8 hours depending on the process conditions and equipment. The enzyme can be used at all kind of desizing process by virtue of the broad temperature range. A rapaid wetting agent with non-iodic structure must be used in order to accelerate contact of the enzyme with the fabric. Subtances with cationic and anionic structure have no negative impact on the activity og the enzyme. Furthermore, crack preventer and ion immobilizer subtances are also used in conjunction with the enzyme.
